I was recently interviewed in two podcasts: the first, 'After the Goldrush' is a local blog and is a discussion about my upcoming Lola Montez mural in Grass Valley. The second: 'Artspeak' is a conversation about art as a way of healing, and we discuss staying creative in lockdown.
I created this painting as a study for my upcoming Grass Valley mural of the Gold Rush era dancer: Lola Montez. This painting, which is 20x20" is also going to be in a group show later this year at 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco. The name of the show is 'Portraits of Strangers, Someones and Nobodies' - and was going to happen in August, but now will most likely be pushed back to later in the year depending on the Coronavirus pandemic.
